Garden Fairies Trading Company (a complete smocking supply source) was created in 1986 in dedication to bringing a group of alternative clothing patterns, Heirloom Sewing, Art to Wear books and patterns, silk ribbon supplies, smocking designs, books and patterns that are almost impossible to find in major fabric stores. We also offer the finest imported and domestic fabrics, French Laces, Swiss Embroideries, Ribbons, Trims & Buttons we can find as well as the unique in sewing patterns and other stuff for our non-smocking customers. On the newsletter. We've had to stop writing and concentrate on coding (whee what fun) but soon will be caught up enough to start up the newsletters again and organizing them so you can find info easier. If you need a quicker response just give us a call at 707-995-9337 M-F 8AM-7PM Pacific Time - Weekends we'll answer if we're here but if we don't pick up right away PLEASE leave a message on the machine and we will get back you ASAP. If you prefer you can call us to place your order if you worry about putting your credit info on the net.

Don't have time to place a complete order? Just choose one item and then add in the rest at the bottom of the file. We will complete your order for you online and send you a revised invoice.

This site is almost complete with the exception of some of our fabrics, laces, embroideries, antiques and Ready to Smock so you may have to view things on the old site pages which are not linked to the shopping cart but you can add these items in the comments section of our cart. Each page on this site is linked to where the merchandise is located. If you wish to see all of the items we carry please go to our old site at http://www.smockingstore.com, it is not entirely under a secure socket layer like this one but the shopping cart is under a shared secure socket layer. Stay tuned, we still have some tweaking to do.

If you can't see the sideboxes alongside the middle section your browser needs upgrading but the cart should still work, if not send us an email with your phone number, a good time to call and we will call to complete your order. Or if you prefer you can give us a call at 707-995-9337 MF 7AM-6PM PST S/S answering machine guaranteed, voice maybe. We are very flexible about taking orders, over the phone, through email and Paypal or through the shopping cart ... your preference. If you feel intimated by our cart you can always choose one of the other ways to order. The cart and account set up just helps us and you keep track of your orders.
